- Turmeric root, unearthed from the fertile gardens in the biodome on Naiad during Neptune’s eclipse of the sun. Peel it.
- A hunk of ginger root three times the size of the turmeric, unearthed from the soil of your estranged wife’s biodome on Sao. Also peel it.
- The two cloves of garlic that appeared under your pillow as you were dreaming about gaudy opulence. Peel them, as well.
- A complete cucumber, including its skin, filthy from its time in the storage bay that orbits Neptune and from time to time passes each moon, chopped into knobby chunks.
- A complete tomato, from the stash your grand-uncle brought from Earth along with his goat-niece, from whom you were eventually spawned, cut into fourths.
- A peeled lime, cut into fifths.
Haul out the ancient juicer from the ceramic wardrobe in the subbasement. Affix it soundly to the workbench with the twin vises named after your two favourite internal organs. Be sure the receptacle beneath the mechanism’s udder is secure and then, whilst rhythmically turning the crank in alternating patterns of 7/8 and 3/4, feed the ravenous device with the hunks of foodstuffs in arbitrary order.
Transfer the liquid from the receptacle to your most beloved morning beverage container and then place the juicing mechanism into the decontamination chamber. The robot chambermaid will return it to the subbasement when its cleansing is done.
